Instead of a vague summary of the day and the subjects I was discussing with the 6th and 5th grades (still – Simple Past: P) I will talk about the lessons in more detail:
First I asked them about their pastoral activities. The students wrote down their experiences on the board and told their class mates about it in english. Then we repeated the previously learned irregular verbs. Additionally we created a fictitious date. I asked the pupils questions regarding their activities, which (of course) should be answered in Simple Past. This had the advantage that the entry into the next topic, questions in Simple Past, seems to be easier for the kids.
That was already our Friday … 🙂
